About Kevin
Kevin Redford is a father, husband, and entrepreneur.
Raised in Washington County, Kevin graduated from Peters Township High School in 2001. He joined his family business upon graduation and 11 years later he fulfilled a personal goal when he graduated from college earning a Bachelors Degree from Duquesne University (2012). In the meantime Kevin met and married his wife, April (Canon-McMillan Class of 1999) and they started an amazing family, raising three children in North Strabane. Over the past 23 years Kevin has played a primary leadership role in Redford Photography. Advancing the business from family, children, and senior portrait studio to a School Portrait juggernaut, serving families in over 16 Pennsylvania school districts.
Under Kevin's leadership Redford Photography has given back over $250,000. to local schools, churches, and organizations through their rebate and scholarship programs. Redford Photography is proud to be a local company serving the community.
Dedicated to the safety of students, Kevin and the Redford Photography team created the Redford Youth Protection Program (RYPP), which has spearheaded discussions across the Commonwealth. RYPP is designed to aid school district communication with local public safety services.
In 2005, to financially support the arrival of their first child, Kevin created a wedding entertainment business that has been a popular, steady mainstay in the Pittsburgh wedding community for the last 18 years. In 2019, April and Kevin opened Prila Hair Salon in Canonsburg to serve clients from all over Southwestern, Pa..
Volunteering and serving his community has always been a passion for Kevin. A musician, he could often be seen playing either piano or guitar at local church services since he was 14 years old. Having been asked to run for political office numerous times over the years, in 2023 Kevin is honored to officially be a candidate on the May 2023 Primary ballot for Washington County Commissioner.
